Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge. In the evening just before sunset large flocks of birds migrate from their modern day feeding grounds amongst lush South Florida urban landscapes. Their resting place for the night is the more traditional natural areas protected by the Loxahatchee Refuge. One can stand in awe as birds of all types move across the marshes from East to West into the vast wetlands for the night.
