Fort Center, within the Fisheating Creek WMA, FL. Ancient Native American earthen structures surround this nice trail through an oak hammock. Within the oaks are wild citrus trees possibly centruries old ansestors of trees bartered by natives from early Spanish explorers.
This small, well worn rounded coquina stone sits among much larger coquina formations, also worn but not rounded. The stone seemed very misplaced but was nice enough to pose long enough for a photo.
This lonely sandpiper stands alone precariously under a large beach rock.
