This scene would seem to be possibly driftwood stranded on a beach. However, this is several miles inland amid Florida coastal scrub lands in the Hobe Sound area. An old twisted sun bleached hardwood possibly a casualty of a long forgotten hurricane of yesteryear. These natural scrub areas are becoming harder to find as development often changes the landscape forever.
