This is the Canoe Launch near the headwaters of the Loxahatchee River in Jupiter Florida. Near this location is where several famous Seminole Indian "wars" took place in the early 1800's. The site is now known as battlefield park showcasing the rich history of the area, both for settlers and Seminole Indians.
A pair of wild Royal Palm Trees amidst a surrounding cypress swamp. Often palm seeds float their way through South Florida cypress swamps. It makes for an interesting site in the remote everglades to see such a "royal" sight to see these trees where no others can be seen. In this case two seeds found their way through this swamp.
